About the Owner of Touch The Sky Therapy

Dr. Natasha Strickland OTD, OTR/L

Dr. Natasha Strickland, better known by the kids as “Miss Tasha,” received her Doctorate, Masters, and Bachelors from the University of Southern California (USC). With undergraduate studies in psychology and Spanish and graduate studies focused in occupational therapy, she has a vast background of knowledge in pediatric development as well as proficiency in Spanish. Miss Tasha has over 5 years of experience in pediatric home health, with previous experience in clinic and school based OT. Miss Tasha took advanced courses in early intervention and sensory integration while at USC and is certified in Wheelchair Service Training by the World Health Organization (WHO). Miss Tasha was a speaker at the annual AOTA Conference (2019) to discuss research on the Summer Occupational Therapy Immersion (SOTI) program at USC. Outside of occupational therapy, Miss Tasha enjoys playing sports, dancing, going to the beach, and exploring Los Angeles through food.

Miss Tasha originally opened her therapy practice in Atlanta, GA, where she started her career as a home health pediatric OT after receiving her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) in 2019.

​

She decided to return to her roots of Los Angeles to establish Touch The Sky Therapy in early 2022. As the owner of a female, black owned therapy practice, she is dedicated to serving black and brown communities throughout Southern California.
